In her post, she wrote, “22 pictures for 22 years (well, really 23 pictures because I wanted the song to last longer!). 22 years of love, friendship, compromise, trust, forgiveness, laughter, safety, peace, adventure, passion, joy and so much more.” Trista expressed her unwavering commitment, stating, “No matter the ups and downs, I wouldn’t want to do life with anyone else. I love you with everything, @ryansutter and can’t wait to celebrate 22 more. Happy anniversary.”
The photos reflect key moments in their love story, including intimate dinners, beach vacations, and milestones like Trista’s pregnancies.
Trista, known on television as Trista Rehn, was the star of the inaugural season of The Bachelorette, where she found love with Ryan, 51. Prior to this, she was a runner-up on the first season of The Bachelor.
Ryan proposed to Trista during the season finale in February 2003, and they exchanged vows in December of the same year.

In a recent episode of the Amy & T.J. podcast, the couple discussed the evolution of their marriage, particularly their sex life, after two decades of marriage. “Now versus then? Well, I mean, 21 years later, and two teenagers who walk in your room looking for Q-tips or whatever, you know, without knocking. It is a bit more…” Trista began, as Ryan interjected, “It’s less spontaneous.”
Ryan emphasized their commitment to nurturing their relationship, stating, “I think that we do a really good job… and honestly, that’s a part of why we’ve lasted so long. We’ve maintained that part of our life, despite having kids or everything else.” He further noted that navigating parenthood has made their connection more creative and fun.
