The 36-year-old NFL player discussed his visit to Lake Como, Italy, during a recent episode of the “New Heights” podcast hosted by him and his brother, Jason Kelce. The interview, aired on December 3, featured special guest George Clooney, who has a residence in the picturesque area.

Reflecting on the trip, Kelce said, “Oh, yeah, me and Tay danced around Lake Como for a little while, man. I loved it out there.” He added a humorous note about how locals often point out Clooney’s house to visitors on the lake.

Clooney responded by joking, “I’m part of the tour.”

“I’ll tell you what, it sits perfectly on that water, man. It’s a beautiful place,” Kelce remarked about the Italian locale. He described the residents as “lovely” and shared that each day was filled with new, breathtaking experiences. “Every morning, I was throwing my shoes on running up and down to the water,” he recounted, explaining how the weather varied throughout their stay. “We had gloomy days. We had beautiful days, and every single day was just a new epic realization of what’s really around the world.”

The couple was spotted in Lake Como in May 2024 during a brief hiatus from Swift’s Eras tour. Kelce noted that this was his first visit to Italy. “There’s so many little spots that are just so fun to go to dinner too, man,” the football star observed. “It’s like you’re going to a place that has, like, 10 seats in a corner of a cove, and it’s just the best pasta you could ever imagine. It is such a cool place. I recommend that place for everybody.”

Clooney also expressed admiration for the Italian lifestyle, emphasizing the joy of shared meals. “What you’ll see is there’s a version of life that they live that’s pretty interesting,” he noted. “You know, they really celebrate dinner. It’s two hours and you’re eating with a 10-year-old and you’re eating with your grandparents — they do it right there.”

Kelce and Swift have explored various locations around the globe throughout her Eras tour, visiting places such as Singapore, Australia, Ireland, and the U.K. Together since 2023, the couple announced their engagement in August, sharing the joyful news via an Instagram post.
