Toronto Film Festival Welcomes Four New Leaders to Its Management Team
The Toronto Film Festival’s new market initiative has announced key leadership appointments ahead of its anticipated launch in September 2026. Four new executives have been appointed to spearhead various aspects of the project.
Rahul Raman joins as Senior Director of Market Sales & Partnerships, bringing over 20 years of experience in revenue growth and strategic partnerships across international markets. His previous roles include positions at Discovery Networks, Sony Entertainment, and Disney Star, where he focused on structuring partnerships, developing scalable revenue models, and encouraging global participation.
James Gambhir has been named Senior Director of Business Enablement & Operations. His experience includes senior leadership roles at BMO Financial Group, RBC Capital Markets, and Scotiabank Global Banking & Markets, where he led large-scale modernization efforts and collaborated with executive teams to achieve operational efficiencies.
Nicole Chrysostom-Murray is appointed as Director of Marketing & Communications, bringing extensive senior management expertise from her previous work at eOne Television, where she managed domestic and international marketing, as well as nurtured the careers of acclaimed artists at Sony Music Entertainment.
Devon Mallory, with a 15-year tenure at TIFF, steps into the role of Director, Digital. He will oversee the online experience for market attendees and will manage the selection, implementation, and maintenance of platforms and systems essential for high-quality engagement.
These new leaders will report to Charles Tremblay and collaborate with recently promoted TIFF veterans, including Geoff Macnaughton, VP of Market Programming & Theatrical; Jane Kim, Director of Market Programming & Creator Development; and Brittany Allan, Director of Market Experience.
