Chalamet, celebrated for his performance in the film Marty Supreme, began by expressing gratitude to his fellow nominees, his team, and the film’s director, Josh Safdie. He then turned to Jenner, saying, “And lastly, I’ll just say, thank you to my partner of three years.” His words continued, “Thank you for our foundation. I love you. I couldn’t do this without you. Thank you from the bottom of my heart, thank you so much.” Jenner, seated in the audience, was visibly touched and mouthed “I love you, too.”
