Baseball Highlights
In the City Section baseball games on Thursday, North Hollywood edged out Granada Hills Kennedy with a 5-3 victory. Sun Valley Poly triumphed over Sylmar in a close contest, finishing 11-9. Verdugo Hills secured a 5-3 win against San Fernando, while WISH Academy defeated Washington Prep 11-5.
Meanwhile, in the Southern Section, Adelanto won against Granite Hills, 6-4. Alhambra dominated Schurr with a score of 10-2, and Animo Leadership triumphed over Compton Early College with a 6-3 result. Arroyo achieved an impressive 14-0 victory against Glendale. Other notable results include Beverly Hills defeating Lennox Academy 13-3 and Gabrielino overpowering Southlands Christian 23-4.

In the Southern Section, Chino topped Don Lugo 7-1, and Eisenhower narrowly beat Colton 2-1. Additionally, Redlands East Valley claimed a significant win against Silverado with a score of 18-1, while West Torrance held New Roads scoreless, winning 9-0.

In intersectional play, Anza Hamilton fell to Borrego Springs 10-0, while Eagle Rock managed a 6-4 win against Alemany. The day concluded with Sierra Canyon achieving a decisive 17-0 victory over Nevada Douglas.
