Animal control officers in Palmdale made a heartwarming discovery over the weekend, rescuing a trio of kittens hidden in a car engine.

A local resident alerted the Palmdale Animal Care Center after hearing persistent meowing from their vehicle. Prompted by the report, animal control officers swiftly responded to investigate the source of the sounds.

Upon their arrival, the officers retrieved three small kittens that were trapped inside the engine compartment. Fortunately, the kittens appeared to be unharmed, with only a bit of dirt on their fur.

The animal care center has since placed the kittens into foster care, ensuring they receive the necessary care and attention they need.
