The concerts, promoted by Live Nation, are set for July 9 at GEODIS Park in Nashville, Tennessee, followed by a performance on July 18 at Hersheypark Stadium in Hershey, Pennsylvania. This tour marks the first time Horan and Rhett will headline a stadium together, as well as the inaugural headline concerts at GEODIS Park for both artists. Kashus Culpepper and Emily Ann Roberts will serve as the opening acts for both performances.
Tickets for the Thomas Rhett & Niall Horan Live shows will become available starting at 10 a.m. local time on Wednesday, March 11, for fan club members. Additional pre-sale opportunities will follow throughout the week, with general sales commencing on Friday, March 13, at 10 a.m. local time.
“Niall and I have been buddies for nearly a decade now, but one thing we’ve not done yet is officially tour together,” said Rhett in a statement. “There’s nothing I love more than being on the road alongside longtime friends — it’s going to be a blast for us and the fans.”
Horan expressed similar enthusiasm, stating, “When TR brought up the idea of doing these, I immediately got so excited just thinking about it. We’ve been friends for ages and it just makes perfect sense.”
In an earlier collaboration, Horan and Rhett worked together on a reworked version of the single “Old Tricks” from the deluxe edition of Rhett’s *About a Woman* album in October. Rhett remarked at the time, “Niall and I have been buddies for six or seven years now — anytime I’m over in the U.K. or he’s in Nashville, we always try to link up. We’d talked about doing something together for a long time, but I never imagined it would be this song.”
Horan is currently preparing to release his yet-to-be-titled fourth solo studio album, featuring the emotional single “Dinner Party,” which is set for release on March 20. Before joining Horan on tour, Rhett will open three stadium shows for Morgan Wallen on his *Still the Problem* tour, starting April 10.
