Netflix Sets Premiere Date for Season 2 of The Four Seasons
Netflix has announced that Season 2 of The Four Seasons will premiere on Thursday, May 28. The streaming service has also unveiled a selection of first-look photos from the upcoming eight-episode season.
Co-created by Tina Fey, Lang Fisher, and Tracey Wigfield, the new season continues to explore the lives of six friends as they embark on four different vacations throughout the year.
Returning to the cast are Fey, alongside Will Forte, Kerri Kenney-Silver, Marco Calvani, Erika Henningsen, and Colman Domingo.
Season 1 established a dramatic backdrop for the group as they attempted to enjoy a relaxing getaway, only to be faced with the revelation that one couple in the group was on the verge of separation. This upheaval profoundly affected the dynamics among the three couples: Kate (Fey) and Jack (Forte), Nick (Steve Carell) and Anne (Kenney-Silver), and Danny (Domingo) and Claude (Calvani). The series artfully depicted how the news catalyzed both long-standing issues and new tensions among the friends over the span of a year and four vacations.
The Four Seasons is produced for Netflix by Universal Television, part of Universal Studio Group. The executive production team includes Fey, Fisher, Wigfield, Jeff Richmond, Eric Gurian, and David Miner of 3 Arts. Fisher also directs the series.
