The Premiere Date for Season 2 of ‘The Terminal List’ on Prime Video Is Here
Chris Pratt Announces Return of ‘The Terminal List’ for Season 2 on October 21
In a highly anticipated announcement during Prime Video’s Upfront presentation, series star Chris Pratt revealed that Season 2 of The Terminal List will premiere on October 21.
Based on Jack Carr’s best-selling novels, The Terminal List follows Navy SEAL Commander James Reece, portrayed by Pratt, as he confronts shadowy conspirators intent on disrupting global stability.
"This is bigger, it’s more intense and ambitious than anything we did in the first season," Pratt stated, hinting at the scale of the new episodes. He further emphasized, “[Season 2] expands the world in a huge way on a global scale: bigger set pieces, deeper conspiracy, even more psychological tension. Our whole team poured everything, our hearts and souls, 1000s of people, into making this season worthy of the fans who made the first season such a phenomenon.”
The upcoming season is inspired by Carr’s second novel, True Believer, which places Reece on a journey of violent redemption as he seeks new purpose after finishing his list. The narrative evolves from Season One’s psychological revenge thriller into a globe-trotting espionage adventure, transporting Reece across regions including the Indian Ocean, Southern and Northern Africa, the Middle East, and Europe.
Season 2 will also feature returning characters such as Raife Hastings (Tom Hopper), Katie Buranek (Constance Wu), Mohammed Farooq (Dar Salim), and Jules Landry (Luke Hemsworth), as well as newcomers like Freddy Strain (Gabriel Luna). In this season, Reece will uncover a conspiracy that spans from Moscow to Langley, intertwining with his family’s history.
The eight-episode season will also include performances by Costa Ronin, Olga Kurylenko, Yul Vazquez, Arnold Vosloo, Shiraz Tzarfati, Martin Sensmeier, Edwin Hodge, and Caitlin Bassett.
The Terminal List is executive produced by Pratt through Indivisible Productions, alongside DiGilio, Antoine Fuqua, and Kat Samick from Hill District Media; Carr; former Army Ranger Max Adams; and Navy SEAL Jared Shaw. The series is a co-production between Amazon MGM Studios and Civic Center Media, in association with MRC.
