The Love Story Trailer Depicts the Heartfelt Journey of John F. Kennedy Jr. and Carolyn Bissette
FX has released the trailer for Love Story: John F. Kennedy Jr. & Carolyn Bessette, set to premiere on February 12.
This limited series marks the first installment of Ryan Murphy’s Love Story anthology, drawing inspiration from Elizabeth Beller’s book, “Once Upon a Time: The Captivating Life of Carolyn Bessette-Kennedy.”
The historical drama depicts the lives and romance of JFK Jr. and Bessette, featuring newcomer Paul Anthony Kelly in the role of JFK Jr. and Sarah Pidgeon as Carolyn Bessette. Kennedy Jr., often considered American royalty, captivated the nation as he transitioned from a boy to a prominent media figure. Meanwhile, Bessette established her own legacy as an independent star, advancing from a sales assistant to an executive at Calvin Klein and gaining the trust of its founder.
The trailer highlights the couple’s struggles, particularly the intense media scrutiny faced by Bessette. “There’s your world. And then there’s mine,” Carolyn expresses to JFK Jr. “It’s not a question of if I want to spend the rest of my life with you. It’s a question of if I’m cut out to be Mrs. JFK Jr.”
