Netflix Announces Expanded Cast for Final Season of The Night Agent
Netflix has unveiled the main cast for the fourth and final season of its action thriller The Night Agent, introducing Abigail Breslin and David Denman as new series regulars, alongside Annabeth Gish in a significant recurring role.
Returning star Gabriel Basso reprises his role as the titular Night Agent, Peter Sutherland. The new roster also includes recently announced series regulars Titus Welliver, Trevante Rhodes, Li Jun Li, and Elizabeth Lail. Production for Season 4 commenced on Monday in Los Angeles, marking a shift from the show’s previous two seasons filmed in New York.
Breslin will portray Cahlin, a young FBI agent involved in Duval’s investigation into Night Action. Denman takes on the role of Ford, a seasoned CIA agent and former head of a Joint Terrorism Task Force. Gish is set to play Holland, an FBI agent who becomes part of the Department of Justice investigation concerning Peter Sutherland.
This season marks only Breslin’s second series regular role; she was previously part of Ryan Murphy’s Scream Queens. Her film credits include Little Miss Sunshine, Zombieland, and Stillwater. She is represented by Paradigm and Untitled.
Denman, known for his role in The Office, recently appeared in Season 2 of HBO Max’s Peacemaker and starred in Netflix’s Rebel Ridge. Upcoming projects include the Peacock series M.I.A. and Five Star Weekend. He is represented by UTA and Berwick & Kovacik.
Gish, recognized for her roles in The X-Files, had a prominent recurring role on NBC’s Chicago Fire earlier this season, with recent appearances in Netflix’s The Haunting of Hill House and Midnight Mass. She is represented by Thruline, Innovative, and Felker McGinnis & Ryan.
As the series prepares for its final chapter, fans look forward to seeing how these new characters will contribute to the unfolding narrative.
