### Azriel Crews Recalls Unwelcome Encounter with Actor at Celebrity Wedding
Azriel Crews, daughter of actors Terry Crews and Rebecca King-Crews, recently shared an unsettling experience from her teenage years during a celebrity wedding. In a series of videos posted on Instagram, the 35-year-old detailed how she was approached by an actor inappropriately when she was just 16.
In her videos, posted on January 24, Azriel described the lavish week-long wedding event that included a pre-wedding yacht party where she first met the actor, who was aware of her age after being introduced by her mother. Initially, Azriel was excited to converse with him, noting his friendly demeanor. However, the tone shifted dramatically during the actual wedding ceremony.
“We arrived at the ceremony and found some unassigned seats,” Azriel explained. “But then, as if on cue, the creepy actor slides into the seat next to me, saying, ‘Funny meeting you here.’ It was a clear sign that something was off.”
Following the ceremony, the guests transitioned to a reception with assigned seating. Azriel found herself at a table with her parents and a well-known actress. Despite feeling like she was living a dream, her unease returned when the actor reappeared.
“When I was 16, I got hit on by a creepy actor at a celebrity wedding,” she recounted in her second video. “Somehow, his name was on the place card next to mine, which, coincidence, I’ll never know.”
As the dinner progressed, Azriel tried to ignore the actor. However, she became uncomfortable when she felt his knee touching hers under the table. In response, she discreetly asked her mother to accompany her to the restroom.
In the bathroom, Azriel confided in her mother, who quickly took her concerns seriously. Together, they prayed that the actor would leave them alone to prevent any disruption at the star-studded event. Upon returning to their table, they were relieved to find that he had vanished.
Reflecting on the situation, Azriel expressed uncertainty about whether their prayers had influenced the actor’s departure or if he simply realized he had crossed a line. “I went back and forth on whether or not to share this story, but it perfectly encapsulates what my life was like at this time,” she said. “Sometimes I was the celebrity kid at a black-tie wedding, and in my daily life, I was just a normal Christian girl who had never been kissed.”
This encounter underscores the complexities and challenges that can accompany a life in the public eye, particularly for young individuals navigating unfamiliar social situations.
