John DeLuca, known for his role in Teen Beach Movie, is engaged to Cassandra. The 39-year-old actor shared the exciting news via Instagram on December 30, showcasing several intimate photos from the beachside proposal, which took place at sunset, complete with wine glasses and a dedicated photographer and videographer to document the moment.

The engagement was highlighted by a stirring photo of DeLuca on one knee, holding Cassandra’s hand. Another image captures the moment when she proudly displays her engagement ring while holding a wine glass in the other hand. Additional snapshots depict the couple embracing after their engagement and playfully waving to the camera from afar. A finale clip shows the cameraman celebrating with a high five.

“2025 has been the most important year of my life. It brought more twists and turns than I could have ever imagined. It also brought me you, @cassandratm — and for that I’m eternally grateful. I love you so much and I can’t wait to marry you ❤️,” DeLuca wrote in the Instagram caption.

He expressed his gratitude to Lorilil Jewelers for their assistance in selecting the perfect ring and thanked friends Clenét Verdi-Rose and Marko Germar for helping capture the special moment. In a heartfelt response, Cassandra commented, “Fiancé 🤍.”

Cassandra also shared additional engagement photos on her own Instagram account, including a candid moment with their arms around each other, on the brink of a kiss, as well as images featuring the couple celebrating with champagne after her acceptance of the proposal. In her post, she provided a close-up of the distinctive diamond ring, characterized by a large oval diamond set on a simple gold band.

Further images displayed the couple enjoying the holidays together as newly engaged partners. One photo shows DeLuca seated on Cassandra’s lap, both smiling radiantly at the camera. Another photograph features Cassandra in a “future Mrs. DeLuca” sweatshirt, excitedly showcasing her engagement ring once more. DeLuca’s former costars have joined in the celebration, with Teen Beach Movie colleague Garrett Clayton exclaiming, “Ahhhh! Congrats Johnny!!!” and Gracie Gillam, who played his sister in the film, writing, “Congratulations brother!!”

While the timeline of their relationship remains unclear, DeLuca made it Instagram official with Cassandra just a month before announcing the engagement, dedicating a birthday tribute to her as the “most beautiful human I know – inside and out.”
