TBPN Takes on Hollywood with Exciting Emmy Campaign
EXCLUSIVE: Can two young hosts of a technology and business talk show make an impact in the Emmy awards conversation? The team behind TBPN certainly hopes so.
Hosted by Jordi Hays and John Coogan, TBPN has been characterized as a fusion of SportsCenter and LinkedIn. The show has featured notable interviews with figures such as Mark Zuckerberg, Sam Altman, and James Cameron.
Live and interactive, TBPN provides real-time commentary on the day’s significant business news, alongside in-depth discussions with prominent founders, executives, and cultural icons. Hays and Coogan present executive changes with the same energy that ESPN reserves for NFL free agency, utilizing graphics and engaging with a live audience chat.
Launched in 2024, the show transitioned to a live daily format in January 2025, with episodes accessible on YouTube, X, and as audio podcasts.

Alongside President Dylan Abruscato, the duo is now embarking on a comprehensive Emmy campaign in the Emerging Media Program Category, including billboard advertisements.
This initiative may not be as far-fetched as it seems. Abruscato previously competed in the same category with the popular game HQ Trivia and also created the reality series Crypto: The Game.
The show is filmed in Los Angeles, and earlier this year, Hays and Coogan signed with CAA, a notable talent agency.
Last year, SNL50: The Anniversary Special: The Immersive Experience took home the Emmy for Outstanding Emerging Media Program, while previous winners included spinoffs like Amazon’s Fallout and Apple’s For All Mankind.
“At TBPN, we strive to embrace the latest innovations: the internet, social media, and modern audience engagement, all while respecting the traditional strengths of Hollywood,” said Abruscato. “Our show broadcasts live from Hollywood every day, and we consider ourselves part of that legacy, even as we explore new formats. It’s exhilarating to see the Emmys acknowledging emerging media programs like ours as television continues to evolve.”
