Taylor Polidore Williams Joins Cast of ‘Reasonable Doubt’ for Season Four
Taylor Polidore Williams, known for her role in Beauty In Black, has been cast in the upcoming fourth season of Onyx’s Reasonable Doubt. Specific details about her character remain undisclosed.
Reasonable Doubt follows the life of criminal defense attorney Jacqueline “Jax” Stewart, played by Emayatzy Corinealdi. Set in Los Angeles, the series explores Jax’s struggles with personal trauma, her challenging marriage, motherhood, and the complexities of a high-stakes murder case.
Season Three concluded with Jax finding a semblance of peace following a tumultuous period spent saving her best friend from a life sentence while coping with the fallout of her own affair. However, her tranquility is short-lived. When former child star Ozzie, portrayed by Kyle Bary, encounters serious trouble, Jax seizes the chance to reinvigorate her routine.
As Ozzie’s chaotic personal life unfolds, echoing the drama of a Hollywood film, Jax must navigate threats to her professional future posed by a charismatic associate. She faces the daunting challenge of exonerating her client while safeguarding the successes she has fought hard to achieve.
The cast of Season 3 includes McKinley Freeman, Tim Jo, Victor Rasuk, and Angela Grovey. Morris Chestnut returns as Corey Cash from Season 2, alongside Joseph Sikora, Rumer Willis, Brandee Evans, Richard Brooks, April Parker Jones, Keith Arthur Bolden, and Arkeisha “Kash Doll” Knight.
Williams’ casting was announced earlier today on Sherri Shepherd’s talk show.
Reasonable Doubt is created, written, and executive produced by Raamla Mohamed, with Kerry Washington also serving as an executive producer along with Pilar Savone for Simpson Street. Other co-executive producers include Larry Wilmore, Anton Cropper, Lena Cordina, Shawn Holley, Jon Leshay, Tamara Gregory, Erika Harrison, and Zahir McGhee. The series is produced by Onyx Collective and 20th Television, part of Disney Television Studios.
Williams currently stars in Beauty in Black as lead character Kimmie. She has also appeared in projects such as Tyler Perry and Amazon Prime Video’s Divorce in the Black, FX’s Snowfall, and the CW’s All American: Homecoming. Her film career began at the age of 14 with Welcome Home Roscoe Jenkins.
