Tatiana Maslany’s Paula Faces Challenges in ‘Maximum Pleasure Guaranteed’ Teaser and New Photos Released
Tatiana Maslany stars as Paula in the upcoming Apple dark comedy thriller Maximum Pleasure Guaranteed, which premieres on May 20. The release of the first teaser trailer, titled “The Spiral,” has generated significant buzz and is available for viewing above.
Created and produced by David J. Rosen, the series follows Paula as she navigates an intricate web of blackmail, murder, and youth soccer. Believing she has witnessed a crime while juggling a custody battle and an identity crisis, Paula embarks on a personal investigation that could uncover a larger conspiracy and offer her a path to rebuild both her family and sense of self.
In a voiceover from the teaser, Paula expresses her uncertainty, stating, “Can I be uncomfortably honest with you? I just didn’t think I’d be here, you know? Like, I’m supposed to have it all …figured out.” The teaser has been described as chaotic, capturing a complex emotional landscape.

The supporting cast features Jake Johnson as Paula’s ex-husband Karl, Jessy Hodges as Mallory, a sharp lawyer and Karl’s new wife, Jon Michael Hill as Detective Baxter, Kiarra Hamagami Goldberg as Geri, a fact-checker at a prestigious New York publication, Charlie Hall as Rudy, Geri’s work buddy, Nola Wallace as Hazel, Paula and Karl’s daughter, and Dolly De Leon as Detective Sofia Gonzalez. The roles of actors Flynn and Bartlett remain undisclosed.
