Sydney Sweeney Enjoys a Relaxing London Getaway Ahead of Film Release
Sydney Sweeney took to Instagram to share moments from her recent trip to London, describing it as a "little London getaway." One of the highlights from her posts features the actress in a hot tub, wearing a plunging zip-up bathing suit, alongside her close friend Kaylee McGregor.
After a striking appearance on the red carpet for the premiere of her upcoming film The Housemaid, Sweeney embraced a break filled with leisurely activities. Her visit included horseback riding, dining, and relaxing in the hot tub, where both she and McGregor sported fashionable swimwear.
"Little London getaway ❤️," Sweeney captioned the Instagram post. She also tagged Miu Miu, the fashion house behind her glamorous gown for last Tuesday’s premiere.
Sweeney stars in The Housemaid alongside Amanda Seyfried, who plays her employer in the film. The plot takes a dark twist as Sweeney’s character uncovers "sinister secrets" while working in a new household.
The Housemaid is set to be released on December 19 in U.S. theaters and December 26 in the U.K. Recently, Sweeney and Seyfried discussed their evolving friendship in an interview, highlighting their shared experiences despite a 12-year age difference.
"We related over people experiences," Seyfried told People. "It’s easy to support [Sweeney]. I also probably give way too much unsolicited advice, ‘This is what I would do.’" Sweeney responded gratefully, "No, but I appreciate it."
Seyfried added humorously, "I knew she appreciated it, but I was also like, ‘Take it with a grain of salt!’"
As anticipation builds for the release of The Housemaid, fans of both actresses can look forward to their on-screen dynamic.
