Suspect Arrested in Alleged Road Rage Attack on Reality TV Stars
LOS ANGELES – Kevin Antonio Hernandez has been arrested in connection with a violent road rage incident involving reality television stars Patrick Simpson and Paul Atteu. The confrontation took place on Sunday, March 29, around 9:30 a.m. at the intersection of Melrose Avenue and Vine Street.
Simpson and Atteu, known for their appearance on "Gown and Out in Beverly Hills," reported that Hernandez approached their vehicle and initiated an unprovoked attack. The altercation occurred while the pair were stopped at the intersection.
Hernandez was apprehended shortly after the incident, thanks to the victims’ diligence in recording his license plate number. This critical detail aided law enforcement in locating him, leading to his arrest on suspicion of felony vandalism.
In light of the incident, police have confirmed that Hernandez is currently in custody. Prosecutors are reviewing evidence, including video footage recorded by the victims and surveillance from nearby businesses, to assess whether additional charges should be filed. A court date for Hernandez’s initial appearance has yet to be announced.
