Support Breast Cancer Awareness Month by Shopping Fran Drescher’s Favorite Makeup Products, with Half of Proceeds Donated
Fran Drescher Celebrates 25 Years Cancer-Free with Laura Geller Beauty Collaboration
This October, in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Laura Geller Beauty has announced a limited-edition makeup collection that will contribute to Fran Drescher’s Cancer Schmancer Movement. This initiative will allocate 50 percent of the collection’s proceeds to support cancer prevention, early detection, and advocacy. Following Breast Cancer Awareness Month, 20 percent of proceeds will continue to benefit the organization throughout November and December.
The Laura Geller x Fran Drescher BCA Kit, priced at $49, showcases a curated selection of Drescher’s favorite products, all featured in exclusive pink packaging. This kit includes a Baked Eyeshadow Quad, a Kajal Longwear Eyeliner, and a Dual-Ended Eyeshadow Brush. “I’m very grateful that we are supported by Laura Geller Beauty because Laura Geller is a breast cancer survivor, I’m a uterine cancer survivor, and we’re both here, and we both want to help empower women,” Drescher expressed.
Reflecting on her journey, Drescher shared, “I’m so happy. You just don’t know when you’re starting that journey what’s going to happen. The more distance you put between being diagnosed and the present gives you confidence that you feel like, ‘okay, I beat it.’” She emphasized her focus on maintaining a healthy lifestyle. “I never abuse my body, and I really am very mindful of how to eat and how to function so that my immune system can operate optimally.”
Drescher elaborated on her health-conscious habits, revealing, “I drink a lot of water and only pristine water. It’s either highly filtered or it’s spring water in glass. I also eat organic.” She noted that even her dog follows a similar diet. The actress also avoids certain chemicals, opting for 100 percent organic cotton bed linens and relying on essential oils instead of synthetic fragrances.
Addressing the impact of alcohol on skin health, she advised, “Cut back on the alcohol, especially if you’re a mature woman, because it shows right away on the skin.” She prefers Brunello di Montalcino wine, stating it does not cause inflammation and is enjoyed as an occasional treat.
Drescher praised Laura Geller Beauty products for their safety and compatibility with her lifestyle. “I love her products. I love that all the powder products are baked,” she mentioned, highlighting the brand’s soft brushes, including her go-to Kabuki brush for applying foundation.
Among her favorite products, Drescher noted the effectiveness of the brand’s lip liners and lipsticks, which she appreciates for their non-waxy texture. She also commended their eyeshadow formulations for not flaking and favorably discussed the overall longevity of the brand’s mascaras.
Drescher expressed endorsement for Laura Geller’s Sculpt-n-Stay Brow Gel and the marbled Baked Blush-n-Brighten, which comes in a variety of vibrant colors. She concluded with enthusiasm for the brand’s primer selections, indicating their versatility for various skin types and occasions. “I love Laura Geller Beauty because they support Cancer Schmancer. I love them because they make a product that I get behind,” she said, also noting its appeal to her family and friends.
