Sturgill Simpson Shares Exciting News About His 2026 Tour as Johnny Blue Skies
Sturgill Simpson Announces 2026 North American Tour as Johnny Blue Skies
Country artist Sturgill Simpson has unveiled plans for a 2026 North American tour under the alias Johnny Blue Skies. This tour, featuring his band The Dark Clouds, will promote his latest album, Mutiny After Midnight.
Kicking off on September 4 in Austin, Texas, the "Mutiny for the Masses Tour" will span 29 dates, making stops in major cities such as Los Angeles, Vancouver, Chicago, Nashville, and New York. The full schedule is provided below.
The general ticket sale is slated to begin on Friday, April 10, at 10:00 a.m. through Ticketmaster and AXS.
In an effort to protect fans and offer access to face-value tickets, the tour will utilize the Ticketmaster Face Value Exchange and AXS Resale platforms, allowing fans to resell their tickets at the original price.
Mutiny After Midnight debuted at No. 3 on the Billboard 200, marking Simpson’s second entry into the Top 10. This achievement comes despite the album’s initial release in physical formats—vinyl, CD, and cassette—on March 13. It is now available digitally on iTunes, including a bonus cover of Eddie Murphy’s “Party All The Time.”
