The Stray Cats Announce 2026 US Summer Tour
The Stray Cats have officially revealed their plans for a summer tour across the United States in 2026, marking their return to the stage after previous cancellations due to health issues affecting frontman Brian Setzer.
The announcement comes less than six months after the band called off their 2025 tour due to Setzer’s battle with an autoimmune disease that impacted his ability to play guitar. In a recent statement, Setzer expressed his optimism about returning to perform, stating, “There’s something about the unique sound of The Stray Cats that keeps drawing me in. The Gretsch guitar, the acoustic bass, and the stand-up drums still sound pure and fresh today. Come on out and have some fun with us this summer.” He reassured fans that he is now “strong and healthy.”
The tour is set to kick off on July 24, 2026, in Las Vegas, Nevada, and will include notable stops in Phoenix, Del Mar, Santa Rosa, Colorado Springs, Kansas City, Westbury, and Atlantic City. The final show will take place on August 16 in Morristown, New Jersey.
Ticket sales will begin with an artist pre-sale on March 10, 2026. Fans will have early access by signing up for the band’s newsletter. General ticket sales will start on March 13, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. local time through Ticketmaster.
Despite the cancellation of their 2025 tour, The Stray Cats have remained active, releasing new music for the first time in six years. Last year, they introduced the song “Stampede” along with a cover of Eddie Cochran’s “Teenage Heaven.”
