New England Patriots receiver Stefon Diggs is facing serious legal troubles following allegations made by his private chef. The charges, including felony strangulation and misdemeanor assault, arise from an incident reportedly occurring in December tied to a payment dispute.
According to the chef, the confrontation escalated when Diggs allegedly slapped her and attempted to choke her during a heated discussion about compensation for her services rendered in November.
Through his attorney, Diggs has firmly denied the allegations. He is scheduled for arraignment on January 23.
