Stacey Rusch Imparts Independence to Her Daughter

Stacey Rusch, a star from The Real Housewives of Potomac, is keen on instilling a powerful lesson in her daughter, Arabella. Speaking exclusively to PEOPLE at the Glamour Women of the Year party in New York City last November, Stacey emphasized the importance of independence for young girls.

"My daughter is very self-reliant, she’s independent already, and I love to see that in her," Rusch shared. "She’s only 9 years old, but I think that’s something we should teach all of our daughters."

Rusch highlighted the balance between independence and support, stating, "Don’t get me wrong, you need a strong support system, but learning to rely on yourself and believe in yourself can take you so many places in this world and beyond."

On December 15, Stacey celebrated Arabella’s milestone 10th birthday by sharing photos from the event on Instagram. One image captured the duo together, with Arabella wearing a vibrant, rainbow-colored dress as she stood between her parents.

"Happy 10th Birthday, Arabella! 🎂🧜🏽‍♀️🐚 We are so proud of you! Proud of who you are and of who you are becoming," Rusch wrote. "We’re proud of your kindness, big personality and gentle soul. In addition, Rusch documented Arabella’s return to school in August. The then-9-year-old sported a white graphic T-shirt and pink skirt as she prepared to begin fourth grade. "Back to school! 📚🍎🫶🏽 I’m so excited for my 4th grader! Arabella, may you be a blessing to everyone you meet, continue to be curious, and spread positivity throughout your school! You are amazing, mein Schatz, and we love you! 💗 #firstdayvibes," she captioned the post.
