St. Louis DTF Trailer: A Look at the Complicated Love Triangle with Jason Bateman, David Harbour, and Linda Cardellini
HBO has released the official trailer for its upcoming limited series, DTF St. Louis, created by Steven Conrad, known for his work on Patriot. The series, featuring a cast that includes Jason Bateman, David Harbour, and Linda Cardellini, is set to premiere on Sunday, March 1, on HBO and streaming on HBO Max.
DTF St. Louis centers on a love triangle involving three adults grappling with midlife crises, leading to a devastating outcome as one character ends up dead. The acronym "DTF" stands for "Down To F***," which reflects the series’ provocative themes.
The trailer opens dramatically with a crime scene showing the body of Floyd, portrayed by Harbour. It becomes clear that Clark, played by Bateman, has been having an affair with Floyd’s wife, Carol, portrayed by Cardellini. Clark introduces Floyd to the DTF St. Louis app, explaining, “You meet these people so you can… spice it,” he adds, “Spice up your life.”
In a more intimate moment, Clark shares an audacious fantasy with Carol: “I would like for you to go about your business — do tasks on your phone — while you sit on my face.”
The series also features Richard Jenkins, Joy Sunday, Arlan Ruf, Peter Sarsgaard, and Chris Perfetti. Written and directed by showrunner Conrad, the executive production team includes Bateman, Harbour, Todd Black, Jason Blumenthal, and Steve Tisch among others.
DTF St. Louis consists of seven episodes, which will air weekly at 9 PM, culminating in the series finale on Sunday, April 12, at 8 PM ET/PT, just before the season three premiere of Euphoria.
