Springsteen’s ‘Deliver Me From Nowhere’ Now Available on Digital, PVOD & 4K Blu-ray
EXCLUSIVE: 20th Century Studios’ Springsteen: Deliver Me From Nowhere, directed by Scott Cooper, is set to premiere on digital platforms including Amazon Prime and Apple TV on December 23, with a 4K Blu-ray release scheduled for January 20.
The digital debut follows a 60-day exclusive theatrical window, aligning with the traditionally lengthy release strategies employed by Disney.
Featuring Jeremy Allen White from The Bear as Bruce Springsteen and Jeremy Strong as his manager Jon Landau, the film recounts the making of Springsteen’s iconic 1982 album, Nebraska. This album, recorded on a 4-track recorder in Springsteen’s New Jersey bedroom, is seen as a critical turning point in his career, showcasing a raw, acoustic sound that resonates with themes of lost souls searching for meaning. This period precedes Springsteen’s global rise to fame with the Born in the U.S.A. album. White undertook extensive preparation for his role, including guitar training, and earned a Golden Globe nomination for Best Performance by a Male Actor in a Motion Picture – Drama. The film was shot at significant Springsteen locations in New Jersey, notably the Stone Pony club in Asbury Park.
