Sophia Umansky Undergoes Breast Lift Surgery After Weight Loss
Sophia Umansky, the daughter of reality star Kyle Richards, is set to undergo a breast lift following significant weight loss. The 26-year-old shared her journey leading up to the surgery through a video on Instagram, which included footage of their arrival at the surgery center.
In the video, Richards, 57, expressed her trust in the surgeon performing the procedure, who previously handled her own breast reduction in 2022. "I love him and respect him, and would not trust anyone else to do the surgery on my child," she stated. Richards also clarified her preference against implants, saying, “I’m really excited that Sophia is not getting implants.”
As part of the pre-surgery preparation, Umansky was seen changing into scrubs and conducting a pregnancy test, which is routine protocol before surgery. Richards jokingly remarked, “We’re either leaving with new boobs or a baby coming. So it’s a win-win situation,” referring to the test that ultimately came back negative.
Umansky highlighted her decision to transition to surgery in a TikTok video posted on April 28. "I’m getting my boobs done,” she announced, noting her eagerness for the lift without any additional implants.
Reflecting on her weight loss journey, Umansky mentioned using Mounjaro, a GLP-1 injection, over the past year, which led to significant weight fluctuations. She shared, “As a result of my weight fluctuating, my girls are just not sitting where I want them to be sitting. They’re, like, hanging real low, and I want them to be, like, up.”
Additionally, her surgeon suggested the possibility of removing fat from her hips to give her breasts more volume. “I feel like I need a little something,” Umansky explained. She expressed hopes that this procedure would enhance her confidence in her body, despite feeling a bit nervous about the fat removal aspect.
Alongside the breast lift, Umansky also plans to undergo a cosmetic procedure known as lip blushing, which will enhance the shape and color of her lips. She acknowledged the potential discomfort, saying, “I heard that they, like, scab and peel, so I’m gonna be, like, bandaged up and have, like, scabbed, peeled lips,” but remains excited for the changes ahead.
Umansky concluded her update with a light-hearted note, “I’ll still update you guys on the lips and the boobs and everything. Wish me luck.”
