Smorgasburg LA Returns with New Vendors for 2026
Smorgasburg LA has made a grand return following a brief hiatus, celebrating its 2026 reopening on January 11 with the addition of thirteen new food vendors. This event continues a tradition that has previously launched vendors into the vibrant culinary scene of Los Angeles. Notable past participants include Miya Miya Shawarma, Softies, All About the Cinnamon, Chimmilier, Bridgetown Roti, Holy Basil, and Lei’d Cookies.
This year’s reopening is particularly significant, as Smorgasburg prepares to mark its 10th anniversary at ROW DTLA. The event is free to attend, with complimentary parking available for the first two hours.
Among the newcomers are a range of flavors and culinary concepts, showcasing the diverse food culture of Los Angeles. Here’s a look at the new class of vendors:

Banana Mama: This handcrafted dessert brand puts a unique spin on a Southern soul food classic, offering flavors like Ca Phe Sua Da (Vietnamese iced coffee banana pudding) and Turon Crunch (inspired by Filipino banana lumpia), all made fresh in small batches.

Barranco’s Yogurt: A family-owned establishment originating from East LA, Barranco’s Yogurt introduces Oaxaca-inspired fruit yogurt to the market, combining creamy homemade yogurt with wheat berries and fresh fruit, topped off with amaranth granola and honey.

Franzl’s Franks: Inspired by a late-night bratwurst stand in Vienna, chef Patrick Murray brings a taste of Austrian street food to LA with his gourmet Käsekrainer sausages, served in toasted baguettes alongside pretzels and sweets.

Hot Grease: Celebrating Black American history, Hot Grease features crispy buttermilk fried snapper and seasoned fries. Chef Asha Starks dedicates 3% of each sale to support reproductive justice through her mutual-aid fund, The Potlikker Line.
