Shooting Incident at Norwalk Hotel Leaves One Hospitalized

A shooting at the Saddleback Hotel in Norwalk on Monday night resulted in one person being hospitalized in fair condition, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.

Deputies were dispatched to the hotel on Firestone Boulevard around 9:15 p.m. following reports of an assault with a deadly weapon. Authorities reported that an argument escalated when one individual used pepper spray against another, prompting the latter to fire a weapon.

The shooting suspect was taken into custody at the scene and is currently receiving treatment for exposure to pepper spray.
