Hospitalization Follows Deputy-Involved Shooting in Avocado Heights
A man was hospitalized Sunday evening after being struck by gunfire from deputies in the Avocado Heights neighborhood of South Los Angeles. The shooting occurred around 5:50 p.m. near a Jack in the Box restaurant on Workman Mill Road, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.
Deputies provided immediate assistance to the injured man before he was transported to a hospital. His current condition remains undisclosed.
