Scooter Braun appears to be ignoring criticism regarding his relationship with Sydney Sweeney. According to an exclusive source, the 44-year-old music producer is “unfazed” by the negative response to their romance. The insider reported, “He finds the headlines comical. He seems to be unfazed, as he finds them all very funny.”

The source further emphasized the couple’s comfort in their relationship, stating, “Sydney and Scooter are totally confident and comfortable in their relationship, and there are no trust issues going on. Things between them are stronger than ever, and they’re in a great place.”

Recently, Braun and Sweeney, who is 28, enjoyed a New Year’s trip in Europe, visiting Finland and Courchevel, France. They were later sighted on a date at Dave & Buster’s in Hollywood, California, on January 10.

A second source close to Sweeney reported that she has “never been happier” in her relationship with Braun. The actress’s friends view the negative press as humorous, noting that she is with someone “who’s completely confident and unbothered by the reports.” The source added, “Sydney and Scooter are in such a good place.”

On September 30, the couple was seen holding hands in Los Angeles, just weeks after they began dating earlier that month. They first crossed paths as guests at Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sánchez’s wedding in Venice, Italy, in June.

As their relationship has progressed, insiders have described Sweeney and Braun’s bond as “going strong.” On December 1, a source revealed, “Things between them are great. They’re in a committed relationship, and things are serious.”

Prior to dating Sweeney, Braun was married to Yael Cohen from 2014 until their split in 2021. Sweeney ended her engagement to businessman Jonathan Davino in March 2025 after seven years together. Friends and family of both have expressed happiness over their new relationship, with insiders noting that it is a relief to see Sweeney so genuinely happy.

According to sources close to Braun, his friends are also supportive, stating it has been a long time since they have seen him so settled in a relationship. “He admires her,” an insider remarked, “He thinks she’s smart, kind and fun, and she appreciates how he really sees her for who she is beyond all the noise.”
