In the Southern Section, Aliso Niguel took a commanding 9-4 win over Murrieta Valley. Aquinas defeated Capistrano Valley 12-2, while Buena managed a 7-3 victory against St. Bonaventure. In a tight matchup, Calabasas narrowly beat Santa Monica 1-0. Other results included Glendora’s 7-6 win over Charter Oak and Golden Valley’s high-scoring 16-12 victory against Nordhoff.

For the Southern Section, Agoura defeated Torrance with a 4-0 scoreline. Alemany excelled in two matches, winning 15-2 against Montebello and later 18-3 against Irvine. Arcadia also made headlines, shutting out Paramount 8-0. Strong showings continued with Downey overpowering La Palma Kennedy at 11-1 and Santa Fe achieving a convincing 9-0 victory over Riverside North.
In intersectional matchups, Carson defeated Bishop Montgomery 15-6, while Glendale trounced Maywood CES 15-5. These results underscore the competitive spirit and skill on display in Southern California’s high school leagues.
