San Bernardino Police Ask for Community’s Help in Finding 20-Year-Old Homicide Suspect
Police Seek Public Assistance in Homicide Investigation
SAN BERNARDINO, Calif. – The San Bernardino Police Department is requesting the public’s help in locating a homicide suspect.
Authorities have identified the suspect as 20-year-old Elvia Johnson, who is accused of shooting a woman earlier this month. A photograph of Johnson has been released to aid in the search.
The incident took place on Sunday, February 1, around 5 p.m. Multiple individuals were reportedly involved in a fight in the 1600 block of West Concord Street, near the intersection of West 9th Street and Medical Center Drive. Following the altercation, Johnson allegedly entered a vehicle and fatally shot the victim, who was subsequently transported to a nearby hospital, where she was pronounced dead.
The identity of the victim has not yet been disclosed.
