Trending on Billboard
Sabrina Carpenter paid tribute to Argentine soccer legend Lionel Messi while performing at Lollapalooza Argentina, donning a Messi jersey during her set and singing along to Bad Bunny’s music.
In a TikTok shared on Sunday, March 15, Carpenter showcased a white-and-blue-striped Argentina National Football Team jersey featuring Messi’s iconic No. 10. In the video, she lip-syncs to Bad Bunny’s Billboard Hot 100 hit “Tití Me Pregunto,” striking playful poses and mouthing the words, “Selfie, say cheese.”
In the caption, she cheerfully wrote, “ole ole ole Argentina.”
That evening, Carpenter performed to a crowd of thousands, helping to close the final night of the festival. Headlining Lollapalooza Argentina alongside Tyler, the Creator and Chappell Roan, Carpenter’s company on stage also included future performances by Doechii, Lorde, Deftones, Turnstile, Skrillex, and more in the 2026 lineup.
While festivalgoers cheered for Carpenter’s performance, many viewers commented on her TikTok, expressing enthusiasm for a collaboration with Bad Bunny. One user asked, “Sabrina x Bad Bunny when??,” while another said, “WE NEED A SABRINA x BAD BUNNY COLLAB!!!”
This TikTok comes shortly after Carpenter and the Puerto Rican artist interacted at the 2026 Grammys, where they were photographed conversing on the ceremony floor. Both were nominated for Album of the Year, with Bad Bunny’s Debí Tirar Más Fotos ultimately winning over Carpenter’s Man’s Best Friend. Both albums achieved top positions on the Billboard 200 chart.
