Rylee Arnold Shares Her Essential Skin-Care Routine with CeraVe Cleanser and Epicutis Serum
Dancing with the Stars’ Rylee Arnold Takes Center Stage with Grammy Winner Scott Hoying
Rylee Arnold returns for her third season as the youngest professional dancer on Dancing with the Stars, now partnered with acclaimed musician Scott Hoying of Pentatonix. The 19-year-old gained national attention last fall when she reached the Season 33 finale with Olympic gymnast Stephen Nedoroscik, finishing in fourth place. Following the season, she joined the Dancing with the Stars Live tour, which runs from December 2024 to April 2025.
Off the dance floor, Arnold’s influence is growing. She is now an ambassador for Free People Movement and has recently launched a collaboration with Swoon, a sugar-free beverage brand that is available in major U.S. retailers.
Despite her bustling schedule, Arnold emphasizes the importance of prioritizing her health and well-being. “It’s definitely super tricky to juggle all the things that we do in a season, but I feel like prioritizing myself is important,” she stated. Living with type 1 diabetes makes self-care not just important but essential. “I have a disease that needs to be taken care of every single day," Arnold added. "I think just being able to prioritize that and prioritize my mental state always, and veering from the things that may upset me or make me feel stressed or overwhelmed.”
Arnold finds dance to be her therapy. “One thing about dancing is it’s always been a release for me. I feel like when I’m at rehearsals and performing, it’s really such a release and makes me genuinely happy. It’s really convenient that I can do that every day for my career.”
After the cameras stop rolling, Arnold engages in a nightly self-care ritual that helps her unwind. “I love to take long night showers after we wrap, and I have the longest self-care routine,” she shared with a laugh. “I do a full face mask, I’ll ice roll my face. I have a very extensive skin-care routine, and no matter what time of night it is, I will go through the whole thing because it really winds me down. It makes me feel so calm from the day, and it makes me just super happy.”
Among her go-to products is the CeraVe Foaming Facial Cleanser, which she has used for years. “After that, my favorite product is the Epicutis Lipid Serum. It literally revives your skin,” she explained, noting its effective moisturizing properties without clogging pores.
On performance days, Arnold’s routine is intense. She begins her morning with a shower and skin prep before heading to the studio for hair and makeup. “We’ll start with hair and makeup, and we’ll get that all ready. Then, we camera block the numbers that we’re doing in the live show first thing in the morning,” she detailed. Following a quick meal and an hour to reset, it’s onto the live show, followed by press engagements, choreography prep, and ultimately bedtime, only to repeat the cycle again the next day.
As the year approaches its end, Arnold is looking forward to a more relaxed holiday season with her family in Utah. “I’m very excited to spend time with family this holiday season,” she expressed. “Seeing them during the season is just so limited.”
Looking ahead, new travel and professional projects are on the horizon, although Arnold remains tight-lipped about the specifics. “This upcoming new year, I’m going to be doing some really exciting things that I’m very excited about,” she teased. “I think it’s just going to be a really good end of the year, but also I’m very excited for 2026.”
