Ryan Gosling Joins Harry Styles on Stage During ‘SNL’ Performance
Ryan Gosling returned to New York City this week following his hosting stint on Saturday Night Live, where he showed support for fellow entertainer Harry Styles during his appearance on the same show.
During Gosling’s opening monologue last week, Styles made a surprise appearance from the front row of Studio 8H. As Gosling initiated his episode, he was taken aback, asking, “Is that … Harry Styles? What are you doing here, man?”
Styles, who has been busy himself, responded, “It’s been awhile, so I wanted to watch, get a feel for it.” The moment humorously distracted from Gosling’s monologue, which revolved around the topic of Earth. Gosling quipped, “Could you listen less cool? It’s like your coolness is becoming an issue.”
On the recent episode, Gosling returned to 30 Rock to introduce Styles as he performed his new single “Dance No More” from the album Kiss All The Time. Disco, Occasionally, which features production by Kid Harpoon and Tyler Johnson.
Styles has made headlines over the past few weeks, particularly during his own SNL hosting turn, where he engaged in a memorable monologue reflecting on his recent activities. With several SNL cast members vying for a kiss, Chloe Fineman and Sarah Sherman were unsuccessful, while fellow performer Ben Marshall succeeded.
In addition to his monologue, Styles participated in various sketches, demonstrating his versatility as he portrayed a lawyer and a public defender, a doctor in a MAHA-themed spoof of The Pitt, and a cruise ship host. The episode showcased Styles’ comedic chops alongside his musical talent, solidifying his standing as a favorite on the iconic sketch show.
