Rob Mac and Ryan Reynolds’ ‘Welcome To Wrexham’ Gets Renewed for Three More Seasons by FX
FX has officially renewed the acclaimed docuseries Welcome to Wrexham for three additional seasons, much to the delight of its dedicated fanbase.
Produced by Rob McElhenney and Ryan Reynolds, the series is on the cusp of its fifth season. This renewal extends the show through its eighth season, with episodes airing until 2029. Season 5 is set to premiere on Thursday, May 14, featuring two initial episodes, followed by weekly releases on FXX and Hulu at 9 p.m. ET.
Nick Grad, President of FX Entertainment, commented on the show’s success: “When we launched Welcome to Wrexham, we never imagined the impact it would have on the club and the town while creating one of TV’s most successful and beloved docuseries. This three-season renewal is a testament to the vision of Rob and Ryan and the enduring connection they’ve built with fans around the world.”

The upcoming fifth season will focus on Wrexham AFC’s ambitious quest for promotion to the Premier League, a feat never before achieved in English Football League history after three consecutive promotions.
