Robert F. Kennedy Jr., Secretary of Health and Human Services, recently made alarming assertions about President Donald Trump’s health and dietary habits during an appearance on Katie Miller’s podcast. In a striking comparison, he likened Trump to a deity due to his unexpected vitality despite his less-than-healthy eating choices.
During the podcast, which aired on January 13, Kennedy stated, “He eats really bad food, which is McDonald’s, and candy and Diet Coke. But he drinks Diet Coke at all times.” He emphasized, “He has the constitution of a deity,” raising eyebrows among listeners.
Continuing with his critique, Kennedy expressed bewilderment at Trump’s ability to remain active, stating, “I don’t know how he’s alive. He’s just pumping himself full of poison all day long.”
According to Kennedy, while traveling, Trump consumes food from large corporations out of trust and a desire to avoid illness. However, he claimed that at “Mar-a-Lago or at the White House, he’s eating really good food.”
The White House responded to Kennedy’s remarks through spokesman Kush Desai, who affirmed, “Secretary Kennedy is right: as his golf championships and flawless physical report results indicate, President Trump has the constitution and energy levels most young people could only dream of having.”
A recent study published by Harvard Medical School indicated a concerning relationship between consumption of ultra-processed foods and cognitive decline. This study, involving 11,000 dementia-free participants, found that those who consumed higher amounts of ultra-processed foods experienced cognitive decline at a rate up to 28% faster than those who consumed fewer.
Despite the critical research, Kennedy defended Trump’s overall health, declaring, “He’s got- he’s in incredible health.” He cited Dr. Oz’s evaluation, which noted Trump having exceptionally high testosterone levels for someone over 70 years old. “I know the president will be happy that I’ll repeat that,” he added, eliciting laughter from Miller.
On January 1, The Wall Street Journal published an article titled, “As Signs of Aging Emerge, Trump Responds With Defiance,” which described Trump as being in “perfect health.” The President dismissed allegations about his health, including a suggestion that he may have fallen asleep during meetings, attributing any bruises on his hands to a higher-than-recommended aspirin dosage, stating, “They say aspirin is good for thinning out the blood, and I don’t want thick blood pouring through my heart.”
