Remembering Jordan Wright: A Tribute to the Former ITV Reality Star Who Passed Away at 33
Jordan Wright, a former reality television star known for his appearances on ITV’s The Only Way Is Essex and MTV’s Ex on the Beach, has died at the age of 33.
Wright’s death, which occurred in Thailand, was confirmed by ITV and the local foreign office. According to reports, he was found deceased on March 14 in a concrete drainage system on Phuket Island. A worker discovered him face down in stagnant water.
Local police have launched an investigation into the circumstances surrounding Wright’s death, which remain unclear. Reports indicate that a hotel key card was found in his pocket.
Wright gained fame in the latter part of the last decade, appearing on The Only Way Is Essex, a reality series that follows residents in Brentwood, Essex, and has been on air for over 15 years. He made his television debut in 2017 on Ex on the Beach and was known for a brief relationship with Geordie Shore star Vicky Pattison.
Since the early 2020s, Wright had stepped back from television. His social media activity suggested that he relocated to Thailand several weeks prior to his death.
