Rams Extend Three-Year Contract for Star Safety Quentin Lake
The Los Angeles Rams have signed safety Quentin Lake to a three-year contract extension, which includes $25.7 million in guaranteed money.
Lake, a sixth-round draft choice from UCLA in 2022, serves as the team’s captain. He recently underwent elbow surgery but is anticipated to make a return in time for the playoffs.
This extension represents a significant shift for the Rams, who have historically been reluctant to extend drafted safeties under head coach Sean McVay.
