Rachel Zoe and Brad Goreski Spark New Feud 15 Years After Their Earlier Conflict
Rachel Zoe and Brad Goreski’s Ongoing Feud Heats Up
Rachel Zoe, renowned star of “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills,” has reignited her longstanding feud with her former assistant, Brad Goreski. In a recent interview with Interview magazine, Zoe described her experiences with assistants as “triggering,” a sentiment that prompted Goreski to respond on social media.
During the interview, published Thursday, Zoe reflected on her journey in the fashion industry, acknowledging both the benefits of having supportive staff and the challenges posed by less reliable individuals. “I’ve had the best in the world who are like family, but it also goes the other way,” she stated. Zoe emphasized the difficulty in finding trustworthy assistance, indicating the complexity of her past relationships with her team members.
Goreski quickly took to Instagram to counter Zoe’s remarks, writing in the comments, “Triggering for the assistants as well – Taylor, Jill, Jordan, Tara, Me.” His comment highlighted the shared difficulties faced by former assistants working under Zoe. Jordan Johnson Chung, another assistant, supported Goreski’s assertion by confirming his claims with a simple reply: “@bradgoreski accurate.”
Reps for Zoe have yet to comment on the renewed tensions. The conflict between Zoe and Goreski traces back to 2010, when Goreski departed from Zoe’s firm to pursue his own career, later starring in his own show, “It’s a Brad Brad World,” which aired in March 2011. Reports suggest that during this transition, celebrity clients began shifting from Zoe to Goreski, igniting accusations of client poaching. A source revealed, “Rachel is furious. Brad assisted her in styling Demi. Now she feels betrayed.”
In an episode of her reality show, Zoe accused Goreski of immediately pursuing her clients after leaving her team. Goreski refuted these claims in a subsequent interview, expressing disappointment over Zoe’s portrayal of their split and asserting that he had not solicited her clients.
Despite continued public remarks from both sides, including Goreski’s statements that “the door is always open” for reconciliation, Zoe remains firm in her stance. Earlier this year, she revealed that her decision to quit styling clients stemmed largely from issues of trust with her assistants, indicating ongoing tensions. “After being completely betrayed, for lack of a better term, it just wasn’t worth it anymore,” she told People.
The latest developments suggest the rift between the two stylists remains unresolved, drawing attention from fans and followers alike. As the feud continues, both Zoe and Goreski’s insights into their past relationship provide a glimpse into the complexities of working in the competitive world of fashion.
