Production of Season 5 of The Lincoln Lawyer Kicks Off with Exciting Plot Details and New Cast Updates
Netflix’s The Lincoln Lawyer Welcomes Eight New Cast Members for Season 5
Production is now underway for the fifth season of Netflix’s The Lincoln Lawyer, with the addition of eight new recurring cast members. Joining the series are Diane Guerrero, known for her role in Doom Patrol, as Natalia; Teresa Maria from Narcos Mexico as Tina Perez; Richard Cabral, who appears in Mayans, as Benny Perez; Steve Howey from Shameless as Brian Cunningham; Patty Guggenheim of Twisted Metal as Allison Finch; Corbin Bernsen from L.A. Law as Richard Finch; Chris Diamantopoulos, known for The Sticky, as Frank Silver; and Iker Garcia from The Pitt as Rafa Wagner.
Additionally, Cobie Smulders has been elevated to series regular after her introduction in Season 4 as Artemisia “Emi” Finch, a character claiming to be Mickey Haller’s (Manuel Garcia Rulfo) long-lost sister. The connection between the Finch characters opens new avenues for viewer speculation.
The upcoming season will consist of ten episodes, drawing inspiration from the seventh book in Michael Connelly’s The Lincoln Lawyer series, titled Resurrection Walk.
In Season 5, Haller faces upheaval as Emi reaches out with a urgent request to help exonerate a wrongfully convicted woman. As Mickey dives into the complexities of the case, he unravels family ties and hidden secrets. Alongside him, his trusted team members Lorna (Becki Newton), Izzy (Jazz Rayburn), and Cisco (Angus Sampson) confront their own significant challenges. Following his escape from wrongful conviction in Season 4, Mickey is determined to rectify another miscarriage of justice, navigating a perilous landscape of corruption while reconciling his fractured family legacy.
Returning cast members include Neve Campbell, Krista Warner, Angelica Maria, and Gigi Zumbado.
Over the past four seasons, The Lincoln Lawyer has shown strong performance on Netflix, remaining on the Global Top 10 charts for a total of 29 weeks and amassing 171 million views since 2023, as per the platform’s reports.
