Producers Guild Announces Date for the 2026 Produced By Conference
The Producers Guild of America (PGA) has announced the date and venue for its 2026 Produced By Conference. Scheduled for May 30, the event will once again take place on the Universal Studios Lot in Los Angeles.
This year’s conference promises a variety of programming, focusing on the changing landscape of production, significant television moments, and the impact of emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence in Hollywood. The annual session titled “The State of Producing” will also return, with further panel details expected to be disclosed in the coming weeks.
“We are excited to have the PGA’s Produced By Conference back on the Universal Studios Lot for the second year in a row,” said Jeff Stone, President and General Manager of Universal City Studios. “Universal is designed to be a creative home for all productions. We look forward to welcoming this creative community and showcasing our industry-leading facilities.”
The daylong conference encompasses film, television, and emerging media, serving as a vital networking opportunity and educational platform. It aims to foster discussions on the key challenges facing the industry and explore how producers are influencing its future. Last year’s event attracted notable speakers, including Adolescence creators Jack Thorne and Stephen Graham, Producers Guild president Stephanie Allain, Squid Game creator Hwang Dong-hyuk, and Blumhouse president Abhijay Prakash.
