On Christmas Day, Princess Charlotte joined her royal family for the traditional service at St. Mary Magdalene Church in Norfolk. During the outing, she connected with Mia and Lena Tindall, daughters of Prince William’s cousin Zara, as they exited the church together.
The annual service allows the British royal family, including Kate Middleton, Prince William, and their children—Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis—to greet the public. As they departed the church, 10-year-old Charlotte was seen enjoying conversations with her cousins, showcasing her close ties within the family.

This marks another instance where Charlotte’s bond with her cousins was evident. Last Christmas, after receiving flowers from a well-wisher, she graciously handed them to Mia, who accepted them with a smile. Similarly, during that same time, Prince Louis held Mia’s hand as they approached the church.
Prince William has expressed his fondness for the holidays, particularly witnessing his children spending time with their cousins. “For me, bringing the family together at Christmastime is always lovely because we’re quite spread out during the year,” he noted. “Seeing my children enjoy themselves with their cousins is very special and something I look forward to.” He emphasized that Christmas brings a new dynamic filled with excitement as the children grow.

While the group of royal children participating in the church service was limited, many others likely spent time at Sandringham House, where the family convened for lunch afterward. Zara and Mike Tindall have a younger son, Lucas, who is too young to join for church.
Princess Eugenie and Princess Beatrice also participated in the church outing, with Beatrice accompanied by her husband, Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi. Their son, Wolfie, was absent this year, as were Eugenie’s children, August and Ernest.

Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis have cousins, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, who were notably absent from this year’s Christmas events, having never attended a Christmas walk with the royal family. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex chose to spend the holiday season in California, where they have resided since 2020.
