Police Boosting Patrols for a Safe Super Bowl Sunday
As Super Bowl Sunday approaches, local authorities are intensifying efforts to curb drunk driving throughout the Los Angeles area. The Los Angeles Police Department, along with the LA County Sheriff’s Department and the California Highway Patrol, is ramping up patrols to ensure road safety during the festivities.
CHP Commissioner Sean Duryee emphasized the importance of safety, stating, “Super Bowl Sunday brings excitement, energy and visitors from across the country. Our goal is to keep California’s roads safe, and we will actively enforce laws against unsafe and reckless driving. At the end of the day, the real winner is the one who makes it home safely.”
With numerous alternatives available for safe transportation, law enforcement officials encourage individuals to plan ahead for their post-game travels. As celebrations unfold, the focus remains on ensuring a safe environment for all road users.
