Pixies Share Exciting News About Their 2026 US Tour
The Pixies are set to embark on a new U.S. tour in September 2026, as part of a series of performances celebrating the band’s 40th anniversary since its formation in 1986. The eight-date tour is scheduled to take place between the group’s sets at New York’s Borderland Music Festival and New Jersey’s Sea.Hear.Now festival.
The tour will kick off in Greenville, South Carolina, on September 15, followed by a performance in Wilmington, North Carolina, the next day. After their festival appearances, the Pixies will continue the tour with stops in Louisville, Kentucky; Columbia, Missouri; Santa Fe, New Mexico; and conclude with a show in Tucson, Arizona, on September 26.
Before returning to the U.S., the band will also play a series of shows throughout Asia, the UK, and Europe this year.
“Tickets for Pixies’ 2026 U.S. tour will be available for select dates through a Live Nation pre-sale, which begins on Wednesday, March 25, at 12:00 p.m. local time. Fans can sign up for a Live Nation All Access membership to gain pre-sale access. General ticket sales will commence on Friday, March 27, at 10:00 a.m. local time via Ticketmaster.
The Pixies’ most recent album, The Night the Zombies Came, was released in 2024. Frontman Black Francis spoke about the band’s creative process and experiences on tour in a recent interview.
