Philo Introduces a $25 Plan for More Affordable Live TV Streaming
Philo, a streaming service that aims to provide viewers with live TV options without the hefty cable price, is introducing a revised lineup of subscription plans effective March 10. This change comes as many households seek affordable alternatives for accessing their favorite channels and content.
The new offerings include two paid tiers in addition to a free streaming option. Philo’s mission is to simplify the viewing experience by allowing subscribers to access channels and shows without unnecessary extras.
The Philo Essential plan, priced at $25 per month, features over 70 live TV channels, access to more than 120 free streaming platforms, and an extensive library of over 80,000 on-demand movies and shows. Subscribers benefit from unlimited DVR storage for one year, enabling them to record and watch content at their convenience.
A Flexible Bundle for Premium Entertainment
For those seeking a more comprehensive entertainment package, the Bundle+ plan is available for $33 per month. This tier includes everything in the Essential plan, along with premium services such as AMC+, HBO Max (Basic with Ads), and discovery+, all integrated into a single platform.
The Bundle+ option also allows for additional premium add-ons like STARZ, MGM+, and Hallmark+, offering subscribers the ability to tailor their viewing preferences as they evolve.
Built for Today’s Streaming Audience
Philo’s updated lineup reflects contemporary viewing habits. Some consumers prioritize the lowest possible cost for live TV, while others prefer an all-in-one platform that offers both live channels and on-demand content, as well as premium apps. By providing both the Essential and Bundle+ options, Philo grants subscribers the flexibility to select what meets their needs and upgrade as desired.
Originally designed to compete against traditional cable bundles that often feature excessive channels, Philo has maintained its focus on simplicity, transparency, and affordability. With this new $25 entry point and premium options, the service continues to uphold its core mission.
Viewers can look forward to a variety of upcoming programming, including new seasons of “Duck Dynasty: The Revival,” “Love & Marriage: Huntsville,” “Mama June: From Not to Hot,” and the much-anticipated return of HBO’s “The Comeback.”
Philo’s refreshed plans aim to provide a practical solution for those looking to cut cable costs while still enjoying a wide array of channels and content tailored to their viewing habits.
