Peter Dinklage Shares His Hope for a ‘Poker Face’ Comeback
Peter Dinklage Promotes ‘The Shitheads’ at Sundance, Eyes New Season of ‘Poker Face’
At the Sundance Film Festival, actor Peter Dinklage is garnering attention for his latest project, The Shitheads, a drug-fueled road trip comedy directed by Macon Blair. While promoting the film, the Station Agent star also expressed strong interest in continuing his role in the popular series Poker Face, created by Rian Johnson.
Discussions have emerged regarding the potential for a third season, possibly relocating to HBO. Casey Bloys, Chairman and CEO of HBO and Max Content, revealed late last year that the network had engaged in conversations about this transition.
In a light-hearted moment, Dinklage humorously suggested that the series could be rebranded as “Roulette Face” if necessary.
Poker Face premiered on Peacock in January 2023, with its second season launching in May 2025. The series features Natasha Lyonne as Charlie Cale, a woman with a unique ability to discern deception.
After a fallout with a casino boss, Cale goes on the run, navigating across the United States in her 1969 Plymouth Barracuda, using her skills to solve homicides at every stop.
The series is produced by Johnson’s T-Street Productions in collaboration with MRC Television and Lyonne’s Animal Pictures. Executive producers include Johnson, Lyonne, Ram Bergman, Tony Tost, Nena Rodrigue, Adam Arkin, Nora Zuckerman, Lilla Zuckerman, and Iain MacDonald.
