Pete Holmes’ Latest Comedy Special Premieres March 24
Comedian Pete Holmes’ newest special, Silly Silly Fun Boy, is now available for early access on 800 Pound Gorilla and will officially premiere on YouTube at 8 p.m. ET on Tuesday, March 24.

Holmes, a Boston native, began his stand-up career in the early 2000s. His notable previous specials include Impregnated with Wonder (2011) and Nice Try, The Devil (2013) for Comedy Central, as well as Faces and Sounds (2016) and Dirty Clean (2018) for HBO. He also released I Am Not for Everyone on Netflix in 2023.
His journey in stand-up is partially chronicled in Crashing, a series he created and starred in for HBO that was executive produced by Judd Apatow and ran for three seasons. Additionally, he created and hosted The Pete Holmes Show on TBS, which was executive produced by Conan O’Brien.
Recently, Holmes has appeared in several projects, including Anna Kendrick’s Netflix film Woman of the Hour, Lionsgate’s The Best Christmas Pageant Ever, and Disney’s Home Sweet Home Alone. He also hosts the podcast You Made It Weird and authored the book Comedy Sex God. Holmes is represented by WME, Independent Artists Media, and Ziffren Brittenham.
