The Pet Lovers’ Choice Awards are set to debut as a live event in Los Angeles on February 24, leading to a primetime airing on national television and streaming platforms in early March. This marks the first nationally broadcast, fan-voted awards show dedicated to celebrating America’s dogs and cats, allowing any pet in the U.S. a chance to win.
The awards aim to honor everyday pets through a fan-driven format, culminating in a celebratory event featuring awards presented by celebrities who are passionate about animals.
Actor and comedian Gabriel “Fluffy” Iglesias, known for his love of his dogs, will host the inaugural ceremony alongside his new puppy, Roka. “Hosting the first Pet Lovers’ Choice Awards was a total no-brainer. Fluffy and puppies? Come on—that’s the most adorable tag-team since snacks and naps,” Iglesias remarked on his role.
