Penélope Cruz Unveils Chic New Look at Chanel Haute Couture Show

Actress Penélope Cruz made a striking appearance at the Chanel Haute Couture Week Spring/Summer 2026 show during Paris Fashion Week on January 27. Known for her glamorous long hairstyles, Cruz surprised attendees by debuting a tousled, wavy lob, complete with subtle side bangs.

Cruz’s new hairstyle perfectly complemented her choice of attire: a black knit bodycon dress paired with a matching cardigan. The ensemble featured geometric emerald and diamond detailing along the hems, elevating her sophisticated look. To complete the outfit, Cruz opted for modern geometric green stud earrings, square-toed black heels, a small black handbag, and a pair of chic black sunglasses.

Cruz, a brand ambassador for Chanel since 2018, frequently turns heads with her fashion choices. Last year’s Oscars saw her transforming into an iconic figure in a white gown that harkened back to a 1992 Chanel design, adorned with sparkling crystal buttons and a tulle train. The previous year, she sported a contemporary take on the classic plaid suit inspired by the film Clueless.

Celebrating her 50th birthday in April 2024, Cruz has recently shared her thoughts on aging. In a conversation with Elle, she reflected, "You know why I don’t worry about that? Because people have been asking me about age since I was twentysomething. Now, it makes more sense to discuss turning 50. It’s a huge, beautiful thing, and I really want to celebrate that with all my friends."

As Cruz continues to make a mark in the fashion world, her latest appearance at Paris Fashion Week reinforces her status as a style icon and a reminder that age is simply a number.
